Mobile Consulate of Guatemala in Las Vegas, Nevada


The Consulate of Guatemala will issue passports and other documents to Guatemalans in Las Vegas, Nevada, from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 19, and from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 20, 2011, at the International Church, 501 N. Mojave Road.

• Passaports cost $65.00 and require an expried passport; another government issued identification (cedula de vecindad), and or a birth certificate.

• The Consular I.D. Cards cost $25.00 and require an expired Consular I.D. card, another government issued I.D. (cedula de vecindad), and/or a birth certificate.

• Civil Registry. Registry for children of Guatemalan nationals who were born in the U.S. and wish to aspire to a dual citizenship; the requirements are a valid passport or another government issued I.d. (cedula de vecindad), a birth certificate for the child, and the birth certificate for both parents. This process is free of charge.

• Registration of Marriage. Matrimonio. All Guatemalans married in the U.S. must register with the Consulate of Guatemala to be valid in Guatemala. This process requires a recent birth certificate (issued no longer than 6 months) for each of the partners, a government issued I.D. (cedula de vecindad) and/or a passport, and a marriage certificate. This service is free.
